Purple Ribbon Beef is dedicated to providing premium beef to your table.  Our beef tastes better because we pay attention to the little details as every animal is born on our farm and in our care until we deliver them to the local processor. All the animals have corn-fed diet which results in a more tender and tastier beef. In addition, when the beef is processed it is dry-aged 10-14 days. The dry-aged process allows the beef to increase in tenderness and a more beefy flavor than compared to the beef in grocery stores that is not dry-aged.

Favorite Meat Loaf

A house hold favorite is Favorite Meat Loaf. This is perfect for those cold winter weekends when you just want some comfort food! It is easy to mix up and then let the oven do the rest!

 Meat loaf

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1  1/2 lb ground beef
  • 2/3 cup Italian Panko Crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp. Oregano
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 Tablspn brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup minced onion.
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 2 eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 1/4 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. salt

 

METHOD:

  1. Mix crumbs, salt, pepper, oregano, and garlic powder. Then combine with milk, beef, onion, slightly beaten
  2. Shape into loaf.
  3. Mix brown sugar catsup, Italian Seasoning and mustard.
  4. Spread  mixture over loaf.
  5. Bake at 350°for 1 hour and 30 minutes
  6. Enjoy
