Purple Ribbon Beef

Purple Ribbon Beef is dedicated to providing premium beef to your table.  Our beef tastes better because we pay attention to the little details as every animal is born on our farm and in our care until we deliver them to the local processor. All the animals have corn-fed diet which results in a more tender and tastier beef. In addition, when the beef is processed it is dry-aged 10-14 days. The dry-aged process allows the beef to increase in tenderness and a more beefy flavor than compared to the beef in grocery stores that is not dry-aged.

We are featuring some Nachos we made recently for supper! These are supper easy with seasonings and cheese from Purple Ribbon General Store and use some in season veggies from North Iowa Fresh, LLC


  • Purple Ribbon Ground Beef
  • Taco Seasoning
  • Shredded Cheese
  • Green Pepper -(can be garden fresh or from store depending upon time of year)
  • Onion (can be garden fresh or from store depending upon time of year)

How to make:

  • Brown 1lb of Purple Ribbon Ground Beef
  • Add Taco Seasoning and let simmer for a few minutes
  • Place Chips on a cookie sheet
  • Sprinkle Ground Beef over the Chips
  • Add garden fresh green pepper and onion or any (Don't have to be garden fresh)
  • Sprinkle fresh shredded cheese over top
  • Place in oven at 350 degrees for a few minutes until cheese is fully melted
  • ENJOY!
